State Representative Jason Grill of Missouri represents nearly 36,000 people in the 32nd District in the State of Missouri between January and May when he is present at the Capitol in Jefferson City, Missouri. He is directly involved in legislation that affects almost 6 million people in the state of Missouri and continually focuses on the needs of his constituents, while also attending town hall meetings and community events.

Professional Accomplishments
The second youngest legislator in the state of Missouri, Jason Grill is the only freshman member of the minority party to sponsor and pass a bill in the Missouri House during the 2007 legislative session. During his first session in the Missouri House of Representatives, Jason Grill was unanimously elected as the Treasurer of the Freshman Member Caucus. Representative Grill has served on several important committees including tax reform, small business, and health insurance. Recently, Representative Jason Grill passed sponsored legislation that helps fight identity theft in Missouri and protects consumers who have been victims of identity theft. The Governor of Missouri, Matt Blunt, signed the legislation into law in 2008.

Academic Career
Jason Grill is a lifelong resident of the Kansas City area, having grown up in the Southern Platte County area. Jason attended Saint Louis University for his undergraduate degree and the University of Missouri-Columbia for his Juris Doctor (J.D.). Jason Grill was a consistently strong student, posting a 3.83 grade point average for his undergraduate years and making the Dean’s List for three quarters during his law school career.

Service to the Community
Jason is currently a member of the Parkville Chamber of Commerce, Riverside Chamber of Commerce, Northland Chamber of Commerce, Platte County Economic Development Council, National Federation of Independent Business, a lector and parishioner at St. Therese Catholic Church in Parkville, a member of the Parkville Lions Club, a 4th Degree Member and Council Advocate of the Knights of Columbus at St. Therese Catholic Church, an Adult Scout Leader of Boy Scout Troop 261, a Team Captain of the Southern Platte County Athletic Association's Capital Campaign, a member of the National Wild Turkey Federation, a member of Pheasants Forever, an Honorary Member of the Missouri Sheriff's Association, and a 2005 Governor of the American Royal.

Further Information
Outside of the political arena, Jason Grill is a practicing attorney at the law firm of Holtsclaw & Kendall, LLC, located in the Crossroads Arts District/Freight House District in downtown Kansas City. In his spare time, Jason enjoys traveling, running, watching sports, and spending time with his family. Jason has worked at the White House and at CNN in Washington, DC.
